Alexus Viegas Joins Quinn Law Group

District of Columbia. October 4, 2021 –Alexus Viegas has joined the Quinn Law Group as a paralegal. Currently in her third year of law school at the University of Baltimore School of Law, Viegas has over a decade of experience working as a paralegal. Her wide range of expertise includes civil litigation, public policy, family law, personal injury, and Social Security Disability.

Viegas was drawn to the Quinn Law Group for the firm’s focus on helping military veterans. As a former military wife who is married to a recently retired disabled veteran, she is acutely aware of the struggles veterans face when seeking compensation and recognition for their service-related disabilities. “I am a strong advocate for service members. I look forward to supporting Quinn’s mission of helping as many veterans as possible to receive the benefits they rightfully deserve,” she said.

“Alexus embodies the core values of the Quinn Law Group. In her professional and personal life, she has been a fierce advocate for social justice, for disability and employment rights, for veterans and for those who deserve justice but would not receive it without legal and political advocacy. I am pleased to welcome her to our firm and look forward to her continued growth in the legal profession,” said Don Quinn, founder of the Quinn Law Group.

“I have worked as an advocate for underserved populations and have strengthened my advocacy skills by specializing in civil rights and public policy at the University of Baltimore School of Law. I am a firm believer that to make the greatest change, you need advocates who understand the law and the systems which govern our fight for progress,” said Viegas.
